Explore Farming Workshop

Have you ever thought about starting your own small farm business? New Entry Sustainable Farming Project offers a FREE 2-hour workshop called “Explore Farming” - at New Entry’s Lowell office!

The workshop is aimed at helping participants to start thinking about their future farm business and whether or not starting a farm business is right for you. We’ll talk a little bit about agriculture in the Northeast, the challenges and rewards of owning a business, and the knowledge and resources you’ll need to start farming. Additionally, every workshop features a guest beginning farmer speaker that can talk to you about their experience of starting a farm business. Most people have found that this part of the workshop is extremely valuable!
