Please join the organizing partners of the 6th Farm-Based Education National Network Gathering for Coffee and a Open House at the Historic Thoreau Farm House in Concord, MA.

This Coffee and Open House is an opportunity for Concord, MA area businesses, individuals and organizations to learn more about the November event (see below), provide input to the program and planning already underway, and learn ways to be involved.

About the 6th Farm-Based Education Network National Gathering

The Farm-Based Education Network will convene the 6th Farm-Based Education Network National Gathering in Concord, November 4-6, 2016. Farm-based education practitioners and food system professionals will gather for three days of workshops, field trips, delicious food, and networking.

The Gathering will also welcome host community members from in and around Concord–  from teachers and food service professionals, to parents, students, conservationists, and local food advocates.

The event is organized by the Farm-Based Education Network in partnership with Massachusetts Farm to School (MFTS), The Trustees, Concord-Carlisle Adult and Community Education, and Shelburne Farms in Vermont (FBEN’s project administrator).
