From the field to the plate, butcher Logan Higger of Farmers’ Gate Market has experience working with pigs at every stage. Join Logan for a visit to Winter Hill Farm in Freeport to learn about their Berkshire pigs and pasture-based livestock production. At Turtle Rock Farm‘s nearby kitchen, we’ll learn how to break down half a pig cut by cut, and learn about curing and making charcuterie. Everyone will go home with some pork for dinner, and new skills.
