Prior to the NOFA Summer Conference, food system workers will be convening for an open and free meeting to discuss domestic fair trade programs, successes, and shortcomings.
Who should come?
Farmworkers and farmers. Any food system workers: processors, manufacturers, worker organizers, farmer organizers, cooperative organizers, visionaries, and allies.
Consider attending if your work (paid or volunteer) involves fairer wages, safer work, fairer prices, ethical trading, making the food system environmentally, economically, and socially just, sustainable and humane.
Why should you come?
Join us to share the projects and organizing efforts that you are engaged in to promote a more just food system, and to engage in conversation and dialogue on how to build real campaigns that will work for the benefit of farmers and farmworkers.
