This 90-minute webinar will take a deeper dive into the management and expansion of the direct sales customers you may already have and evaluating what new direct sales opportunities would be a good fit. A basic overview of a variety of direct sales models will be given, including CSAs, on-farm sales, on-line sales and farmer's markets. The skills needed to make each endeavor successful will be examined, including a 101 overview of the support pillars of marketing such as visual displays, customer service, communication and basic event planning. Notes, exercises and additional resources used during the webinar will be made available to participants and the session will be recorded. A 30-minute Q&A period will be included, to allow participants to ask questions; resulting in an engaging interactive learning experience.
