The Farmworker Organizing Committee (FwOC) of the Agrarian Action Network and the Pioneer Valley Worker Center are offering free Know Your Rights trainings geared towards farmworkers as part of our ongoing efforts to

• Build connections and understanding across farmworker communities to strengthen the voice and power of all farmworkers

• Gather the community to build relationships, discuss community problems, envision solutions, and take collective action

This training will be with Clare Hammonds from the UMass Labor Center. Dinner, childcare, and Spanish interpretation will be provided. 

 

All farmworkers are welcome, and it would be great if you could pass on the invitation to those you are working with. All are very much encouraged to bring questions related to their own work experience, and also to be sensitive to giving others the space to share their questions (especially those who might feel less comfortable asserting themselves due to language barriers, etc.).
