Sustainable Cape invites like-minded folks to join us in Orleans, Massachusetts, for a Spring lecture by Eliot Coleman. He will speak on Organic Growing Year-Round and discuss simple, inexpensive ways to maximize our harvest in the New England climate.
Relevant for backyard gardeners and farmers both, Eliot's lively presentation will be followed by a Farmers' Tea featuring hot cider & a selection of teas served by children from our Children's Gardening programs. Local food vendors will offer a variety of tastes of Cape Cod. Both Eliot Coleman, as well as his wife Barbara Damrosch, will sign their award-winning books. Reservations are highly suggested and tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20, free for farmers, students, those on SNAP or WIC, and Seniors.
