The following are proposed for tool stages

  1. Concept - from idea up to when the tool has been tested 2)functional prototype - tool has been built/tested in the field, but not fully documented 3)DIY - tool has been built and documented well enough that it could be reproduced 4)Commercial Product - currently being manufactured and available for purchase
