Description
Each year NIFTI convenes the best and brightest in the field of land-based beginning farmer training to learn, share, and develop new resources at the National Field School. This year, the 5th Annual NIFTI National Field School is taking place on October 25-27th in Ann Arbor, MI. The Field School is a unique opportunity for these projects to gather, and in the past has attracted up to 75 participants from across the country.
Day one and two of the field school are dedicated to professional development, networking and skill-building for Incubator Farm Project staff. On day three, participants visit incubator farms in the area for guided farm tours and an opportunity to speak with staff and beginning farmers.
