The Harnessing Consumers & Communities to Help Meet U.S. Food Waste Reduction Goals Conference and Webinar will bring together those interested in reducing and redirecting food waste in their own communities.
The morning will be available to webinar and in-person participants and will feature national and local experts sharing emerging insights into current trends and best practices concerning how to help consumers and communities reduce food waste and divert food waste from landfills in support of the United States’ first-ever national food waste reduction goals, which calls for a 50% reduction in food waste by 2030 by forming a broad and inclusive public-private partnership.
The afternoon will be available for in-person participants only and will feature ample opportunity for participants to discuss current or potential waste reduction or redirection programs in their own communities and organizations.
Participants will be able to ask questions from a panel of experts about these programs and discuss possible collaboration with researchers to help implement and/or evaluate community or organizational programs.
