The Harvest Event of the Season in the heart of the Rondout Valley! Join farmers and neighbors on Saturday, September 24th at RVGA’s 14th annual Harvest Hoedown and Local Food Barbecue. Our famous local food farm-to-table feast, “Slaw Off”, bake sale, snacks, wine and local beer, local cider, fun for everyone–tractors, Zucchini 500 Race, pumpkin decorating, and more! Barbecue served 4:30-6:30pm.
Live music all afternoon and evening by Rich Hines and the Hillbilly Drifters, singalong with Creek Iversen and Farm Friends, Kelleigh MacKenzie, topped off with square dancing to The Shoestring Band and caller-fiddler Liz Slade!
Advance tickets are $25 Adult, $5 Children 6-12, and under 6 free. $30/$10 day of gate. Tickets at these local farm stands: Hudson Valley Farm Hub, Davenport Farms, Saunderskill Market, Kelders, Arrowood Farms, Barthels; also Stone Ridge Wines, 1850 House, and Bywater Bistro or purchase online.
