Need help finishing up a parabolic solar hot water heater

i hope this is the correct forum for this post. If not, please feel free to move it.

Well, this is where we are at. We are a small team trying to finish up a parabolic solar hot water heater.

Any requests in regards to power and connectivity at the iFarm Event?

Hi all, I'm helping set up Wi-Fi networks at Dorn's farm on Friday to make sure we have good connectivity in the places we'll be working. Mainly that means in his barn and in some green houses (that have power) next to his barn at the moment. Are there any other requests from folks that I might be able to help out with?

We want to turn our ELF farm into an urban farm

We grow ELFs (www.organictransit.com) here in downtown Durham, NC. We make solar powered electrically assisted tricycles. We are trying to integrate systems into our building that afford us baby steps toward improving local ecology and generating outputs that are either food related or of service to someone or something. Anyone out there have any experience in this area? Would love to start the conversation. Thank you in advance. :)

Tell me about web pages about equip & projects

I want to put out the call for anyone to let me know about practical (tried and proved-out) home-built equipment or set-ups & devices, DIY projects, etc that can be of value to homesteaders, market gardeners, and small farms. I have a Pinterest board at: https://www.pinterest.com/joelbc/homestead-methods-tools-equipment/

This is something I'm experimenting with, using it to inform people in need of technical info. What I have on there now are either things and approaches I myself am using, or that make solid sense to me - after 20+ years on my own homestead.
