What is the situation, broadly speaking, around sustainable agriculture and the emerging Farm Hack culture?
Community principles help guide and inform our collaborative work by providing a framework in which we are working to acheive our goals as a community. This forum thread is a place to discuss the Farm Hack Community Principles and make any changes or additions.
Community Principles (working):
1. Farm Hack is a community to support user generated content and knowledge exchange.
2. We build tools that support sustainable farming and sustainable farmers.
Hi! We've been putting some work and thought into the Farm Hack method--a documentation methodology which can be applied to on-farm events, ag conferences, formal education, etc. It's a way of thinking about knowledge sharing that speaks to the Farm Hack philosophy. We'd love to hear what you think, hear about your using it, know what should be changed. This forum topic is a place for those discussions! Check it out.
Hey, just saw this article about Farm Hack at the Small Farm's conf in Nevada--I'm wondering who'll be there and what tools they're bringing? Post up some documentation on the site about the event and the cool tools and farmers present!

This is a new section to Farm Hack - the Culture page. Intended to make a place for diving into the "why" of Farm Hack: why do we hack? what are our principles and values? what are other relevant conversations?
Check it out - What do you think? Where would you like a Farm Hack Culture conversation to go?

5th annual Slow Tools summit hosted at Stone Barns Center discussing projects, challenges and solutions to small scale ag systems technology.
Hello Farm Hackers,
We are looking at hosting an event in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on March 22, 2016; 'Accelerating Agri-Technology Summit.'
I am wondering if there is someone with a good presentation about what Farmhack is and who would be able to make a good presentation before an audience of 100+/- farmers and related agrifolks

Hello, does anyone know of a brick and mortar store in or near Brooklyn NY which sells poultry supplies such as cages, feeders, food, etc.?
Thank you!
