Description

Many beginning small farmers and urban farmers are often without secure long-term land tenure, making it difficult to invest in critical infrastructure needed to allow the farm to grow and operate efficiently. This functional prototype was built with grant money from the Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission and is currently in use at ECO City Farms, in Edmonston MD, a not-for-profit/educational four-season urban farm where it doubles as a teaching kitchen for youth nutrition programs.

GitHub now shows previews of 3D Models! (STL files)

GitHub.com, the amazing repository free repository for all things Open Source, now has support for showing previews of STL files. Check out their blog post on this new feature. Tabling suggestions and volunteers for the Fair

We're going to the Common Ground Fair. We're looking for suggestions and possibly some helpers too. Let us know if you'll be there. Let us know if you have something to share.

We'll definitely have flyers and some posters and some movies. Hopefully we'll have something from APITRONICS. Maybe we'll get someone from PublicLaboratory to come vist as well.

Let us know if you've got something to show or you could help us by sitting at the table from time to time so we can walk around too!

thanks, dan
