Hi All,
Hi,
I want to start a discussion about using peer-to-peer lending to support smallholder farmers all over the world. Why?
We are aiming to strengthen local and regional knowledge structures and connections between small scale farmers and farming in not only our more northern region but on a national scale as well . We would like showcase and share some of the small innovations we as a farm have had, but also facilitate others to do the same, as well as networking and meeting fellow farmers or those interested in organic and sustainable food. We want to learn more and hear from colleagues and community.
Hi,
I'm a mobile telecommunication engineer providing services to a mobile operator in Ireland. I'm also currently doing a part time masters in Innovation, design & Entrepreneurship in University College Dublin and part of the course is aimed towards us developing a start-up or in my case a new line of business. One area I'm really interested in investigating is the benefits of bringing wireless to farmers. My family are all farmers (I strayed from the pack with my engineering ways) so this is where the interest comes from.
Hi everyone.
Insitu | Center for Socially Engaged Design is hosting a Farm Hack in the Ann Arbor area March 12th & 13th. We are looking for interested students, faculty, staff and community members to participate in this hack to develop solutions for a mobile, 3-season, heated and cooled chicken processing station for a local poultry farmer. For more information please visit: http://insitu.engin.umich.edu/farm-hack-march-12-13/
Thanks
I'd like to connect with other italian based member to see if we can start working at localish level.
Please keep in touch.

What are your thoughts everyone?
Hello,
I am a design student beginning my senior thesis on small scale agriculture. If you have a moment, could you take my quick survey I have placed below, so that I can get a better understanding of the needs for the small scale farmer.
If you have any insights, or ideas on the problems of small scale farming, any and all comments would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
What are the beliefs and behaviors that could foster the best possible outcomes for the Farm Hack community?
What is the situation, broadly speaking, around sustainable agriculture and the emerging Farm Hack culture?
