Hi there, We met at last year's maker Faire and I was impressed with your work. I've been working on a new version of Fido, the temperature alarm that sends text messages, that is now built on using the Raspberry Pi. I'd be interested to see what kinds of work you have done on the Raspberry Pi, in particular I'm interested in how you interact with solenoid valves. Do you have any source code or schematics available?

We grow ELFs (www.organictransit.com) here in downtown Durham, NC. We make solar powered electrically assisted tricycles. We are trying to integrate systems into our building that afford us baby steps toward improving local ecology and generating outputs that are either food related or of service to someone or something. John asked, "And in the Distribution tab if I over ride the formula in the Value column and just enter in a number, will that mess anything up anywhere? Some sales are kind of one-of or temporarily different then the usual pricing scheme, not worth a whole new scheme, but I would like the form to reflect the actual value."

John asked, "What does the "Number" column represent? If I have a (Labor Type) 'crew' of (number) '3' at (Hourly Rate) '$10', and put them to work wouldn't the (Labor Cost / Hour) be $30. Hope you can see my question in that :)"

It's true that the paper records have some fields that don't exist in the online version. These extra fields were created at the request of the veggie production manager at the farm where I work, and I have no specific plans for including them in the system. If they aren't useful to you, don't bother with them.
