I'm surprised there is so little activity on this site. I'd like to see more - probably others would, too. (By the way, my thanks go out to the techies who keep this forum system operating.)
Why I'm surprised at the low activity is that there have been all the Farm Hack events. Surely a promising or viable design or method is occasionally coming out of these.
There are threads started here (often with a pic or two) and orphaned. No follow-up, even when interest has been shown via a reply to the topic.
Has anyone looked into modifying this for solar-powered fencing in remote pastures? Also, it sounds like you only get the status when you query the system. Would it be difficult to have an alert automatically sent when the fence is down?

I'm looking for affordable ways to process and store vegetables at keep-safe temperatures and to prevent wilting. I've seen some good hacks for refrigerated trucks and I of course know about the coolbot. Wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any other good hacks out there for these uses? Thanks.

What is the top material made out of? How is it attached? And how does it do in wind?
I also wanted to make note that a small (great) company out of Iowa now makes a large bike trailer that can haul up to 600 lbs--if anyone's looking for a larger capacity trailer.
